Back to Levico history bike tour

This walk leads from Compet locality (1380 m) to the town of Levico along little known paths with wonderful views.  Firstly, take the dirt road to Busa Granda Fortress (1500 m), which was built entirely in stone during the First World War.  From here you can admire the views over the lakes of Levico and Caldonazzo.  Continue down to the historical centre of the small town of Vignola and then, on along a forest road until you reach Colle Delle Benne, a fortress which was built by the Austro-Hungarians between 1880 and 1882. Continue down for another 2 km to reach the centre of Levico.
