Legendary ascent of Valsugana ring
Starting in Pergine Valsugana, the experience includes the ascent to Vetriolo from Levico, which has repeatedly been a proving ground for champions in the Giro d’Italia. We will ride it from the unseen and very challenging side, known as the ‘Strada dei Baiti’, which is not as well known among cyclists. From here, after a short descent of about 1.5 kilometres to Compet, we climb the second ‘mythical’ climb of the Valsugana: the Panarotta, and then descend to Malga Montagna Granda and then Kamouvrunt. From this small village in the heart of the Val dei Mocheni, the options are: a refreshment at the Aquila Nera restaurant, a final effort to climb up to the Baita Van Spitz hut and then to one of the most beautiful natural terraces of the Enchanted Valley with a splendid view of the Brenta chain. After a regenerating Kneipp course on the meadows of the Van Spitz, it is now all downhill along the orographic left of the Fersina torrent to Canezza, where we can visit the Museo del Paracarro (Museum of the Parachar), the brainchild of Dario Pegoretti. After the visit, we return to Pergine Valsugana.

This experience is intended for adults. Included in the experience is a visit to the kart museum in Canezza. We recommend classic clothing for those facing descents at altitude (twenty or so), and a spare inner tube. Lunch can be taken at the Aquila Nera di Kamouvrunt, at Malga Montagna Granda or at Van Spitz.
